After receiving expressions of interest from riders, the Off-road Commission held a selection day on Sunday 3 July 2016. From that, the commission has selected the following riders to represent Ulster at the upcoming Inter-regional MTB Championships which will be held in Glasgow on 29-31 July 2016. Craig McCarthy Drew Armstrong Lee Harvey Thomas Creigthon with non-travelling reserve Dean Harvey. We wish the team every success.
The Youth Camp returns this year with 6 dates. These sessions are for Under 8s, 10s and 12s. Dates are as follows: Monday 18 July, Monday 25 July, Monday 1 August, Monday 15 August, Monday 22 August, Monday 29 August. Time 7-8:30 pm. Locations given below.
The Irish National Cross-country Championships will take place on Sunday 17 July 2016 at Bellurgan Park, Dundalk. Hosted by Cuchulainn CC, the park has seen some great racing in the past with the NPS series. Riders will need to have a UCI code starting with “IRL” on their licence.
