The 2025 Ulster Cross-country Mountain Bike Championships took place at Todds Leap on Sunday 3 August 2025. It was great to see host club Team Caldwell Cycles, under event organiser Gary Donaldson, step up to take on these championships. The last Ulster Cross-country championships was held in 2022 by Ards Cycling Club at the Leadmines. The entry numbers for 2025 were very similar to those of 2022, around 70 people….

The Cycling Ulster Off-road Commission is now looking for expression of interest from riders who wish to join their cross-country, enduro, downhill mountain bike development squad. On Sunday 26 March 2023 Kinning Cycles hosted the Spring mountain bike race at Ormeau Park in Belfast. This is the second year that the host club has ran a cross-country race at this site. The Cycling Ulster Off-road Commission sent 8 riders to this year’s Inter-regional Mountain Bike Cross-country Championships. The event was held over the 10-11 September 2022 at Cannock Chase hosted by Hope Technology and Crank It Cycling in association with British Cycling.
