The 2013 Ulster Cross-Country Mountain Bike Series kicked off at Ballykelly Forest near Limavady. This was the second year that the host club, Strabane / Lifford CC, had put on an off-road event at this venue and they had been blessed with fine weather in the lead up to race day and on the day itself. This provided a great dry course for all riders. The turn out was up on last year and the level of organisation of the club was stepped up as well. The club is indebted to the Northern Ireland Forestry Service for sanctioning the event.
