More success for Ulster riders at British XC series (Round 5)
The Cycling Ulster Cross-country team travelled to the last round of the British XC Series at the Royal Welsh showgrounds in Wales over the weekend 4/5 August 2018. A total of five riders had been selected for the team consisting of, Thomas Creighton, Lee Harvey, Niamh McKiverigan, Ben Wilson and Darcey Harkness. The team was managed by Nicola McKiverigan and team Coach was Gareth McKee.
A great conclusion to the season with the Ulster XC Championships
The 2018 Ulster Cross-country Mountain Bike Championships took place on Sunday 5 August at Castlewellan Forest Park in County Down. Host club Shimna Wheelers elected to run their event on the ‘old’ course which is located towards the Leitrim side of the lake.

Phoenix Bike Park in Suffolk was the venue for Round 4 of the HSBC British National XC series which took place on the weekend of 9-10 June. With Thomas Creighton sitting exams Cycling Ulster had a four rider team at this event.
